Use fastboot to send an image to device

  3. Chaithanya 17/11/2012 at 10:58 am Reply

    remove these lines:

    assert(package_extract_file(“boot.img”, “/tmp/boot.img”),
    write_raw_image(“/tmp/boot.img”, “/dev/block/mmcblk0p8”),
    delete(“/tmp/boot.img”));

    also remove boot.img

I’m trying to add Thunderbolt script by pickachu on a ROM but I cant figure out how to copy the script permissions to the ROM updater script. Can you alloborate on that a little bit? 😀

    • Chaithanya 13/01/2013 at 5:42 pm Reply

Sorry I haven’t tried it, also can’t do it know. Just found this. In Pickachu’s own words:
“You can include it if you include proper credits.
Copy whatever in the /system and add the lines to set permission in updater_script”.

Hello would you mind stating which blog platform you’re using? I’m looking to start my own blog soon but I’m having a hard time deciding between BlogEngine/Wordpress/B2evolution and Drupal. The reason I ask is because your design and style seems different then most blogs and I’m looking for something unique.
P.S Sorry for getting off-topic but I had to ask!

Its wordpress, and I’m using one of the default themes provided by wordpress.com. Moved all my content to a new place to use custom domain, which otherwise not possible for non-premium user here.

      Here is my new blog:

      Hello Pradeep.
Sorry to hear that you phone is not working. It seems there is no custom rom for your phone.
I don’t clearly understand you problem. You can try reset and if you can’t do it contact spice hotspot center near you.

      • Pradeep 21/09/2014 at 10:14 pm

    • Chaithanya 23/09/2014 at 9:30 pm Reply

You can’t create/modify a rom, unless you have original (stock) rom with you. And also to port other rom for your device, Spice has to release source for you, which they won’t do.
So, if your phone slows down, just do factory-reset.

    • Chaithanya 26/09/2014 at 9:49 pm Reply

You can’t unless spice releases it
